As Medical Director, Dr. Barna ensures that every treatment at Demma Aesthetics meets the highest clinical safety and precision standards. Her oversight provides clients with confidence that all services are performed under expert medical guidance.

Jules Pena, RN

Registered Nurse

With more than a decade of nursing experience and over five years devoted exclusively to aesthetic medicine, Julissa (Jules) Sostre is known for delivering refined, natural-looking results through advanced facial balancing and thoughtful, individualized treatment. Her work blends clinical expertise with a highly trained artistic eye, enhancing each patient’s natural beauty while maintaining harmony and authenticity.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Regis College, an educational background that supports both her technical precision and patient-focused philosophy.

Before specializing in aesthetics, Julissa built a strong clinical foundation working in emergency medicine during the COVID pandemic, medical-surgical care, urgent care, home health, gastroenterology procedures, and travel nursing. This diverse experience informs her meticulous approach to safety, anatomy, and comprehensive patient care.

Committed to advanced education, she trained through the Massachusetts Aesthetics Association where she earned advanced certifications in neuromodulators and dermal fillers. She has also completed cadaver-based anatomy training and has worked closely with physicians and respected aesthetic providers throughout Massachusetts. She is also highly skilled in IV therapy and known for her ability to establish IV access even in challenging situations.

Julissa trained under the directorship of renowned Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Joseph Russo, where she received extensive training in multiple areas of aesthetic medicine, including beyond injectables, further strengthening her clinical knowledge and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Today, Julissa is recognized for her sophisticated approach to injectables, specializing in full-face assessment, balanced rejuvenation, and subtle refinements that elevate rather than alter.

Her philosophy is centered on elegance and restraint: results that are refreshed, confident, and unmistakably natural.

Emily Citro

Aesthetician

Emily Citro is a dual-licensed Master Aesthetician and Cosmetologist with over a decade of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. She completed the 1,200-hour Master Esthetics Program at the prestigious Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics, where she developed a comprehensive foundation in advanced treatment protocols and clinical skin analysis.

With more than ten years of hands-on experience, Emily specializes in creating customized, results-driven treatment plans designed to address the root cause of skin concerns rather than simply treating surface symptoms. She is particularly passionate about treating aging skin and takes a strategic approach grounded in education, consistency, and long-term skin health.

Emily firmly believes that in-office treatments and proper home care must work together to achieve optimal outcomes. For this reason, she prioritizes client education and develops comprehensive at-home regimens tailored to each individual’s goals, skin condition, and lifestyle.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Emily continually advances her knowledge to remain aligned with the latest innovations and best practices within the skincare industry. Her mission is to provide strategic, personalized care that delivers visible, lasting results while empowering clients with the confidence and knowledge to maintain healthy, radiant skin. Emily has received advanced training in laser modalities, including the Sciton BBL and MOXI laser platform.
